Hey guys, For years I've been wondering why there's no freeware and nice 777 panel for FS2004. There are so many beautiful freeware panels for other aircraft, but how can there not be a single panel creator who thinks 'hey, there's no good 777 panel for FS2004, let's create one'? I'm not demanding any panel creator to do it for me, that'd be selfish, but I'd like to know if anyone stumbled upon a nice 777 panel for FS2004, because the default 777 panel just doesn't make me feel like I'm flying a jet in the sim. If there's any good panel creator out there who reads this, I'd like to say that a lot of people would really appreciate it if you could do a simple but nice 777 panel for FS2004. Those beautiful Posky models have to be good for something (without having to merge with PSS or Wilco, because then I lose so much money for just a panel. Cheers! Is this for the default 777 or MelJet 777 or another FS9 777 rendition? I did a search for boeing 777 panel for fs2004 and came up with quite a few out there - Some are payware, some freeware. Some will only work with the default, some with payware 777's. Quite a selection already out there.
Best regards, Jim. A340300x, Oooh. You've cooked up a tall order! The main difficulty in what you're looking for is that, unless you're actually creating the Panel yourself, any outside offering will always give you the impression that something's 'missing', or that it doesn't 'look right' to your eyes. I find that all the time when I'm perusing the File Libraries, looking for ideas for a new Panel, or that obscure Gauge that will make the presentation just right. But that's just because I'm a Panel and Gauge junkie!
You mention having to buy PSS and Wilco product just to have the ability to merge those Panels into other airplanes. My best suggestion is to plop down the $$$ (a small sum) and purchase FS Panel Studio. Armed with that (and a good selection of Gauges) you can create a Panel for your 7³ with all of the bells and whistles YOU want, and at the same time have fun modifying the other Panels from airplanes in your stable. But, if you're looking for a pre-made Panel take a look over at FlightSim. There are about fifteen different ones to choose from that should work with your POSKY birds.
